• 【EASY TO INSTALL】-- The installation of DC31-00178A DC31-00178D Drain Pump is easy. You need a screwdriver. Wear gloves and cut off power and water. Pull out the control panel from the top, then open the drain hose and drain the excess water. Pull off the plastic cover of the pump filter, then unscrew the 2 screws on the back. Remove the hose from the drain pump assembly and pull it out of the bottom of the washer, being careful not to cut the wires. Replace with a new pump motor and refasten the top panel.
